WHAT TO EXPECT
Gatherings at Southeast Polk Family Church are pretty relaxed and informal. Dress is generally casual and the conversation is warm and engaging. It’s kind of like a regular family gathering! Expect to be greeted at the door where you will receive a friendly smile and a warm welcome. Free coffee and refreshments are available in the main foyer before church. Service begins at 10:30 a.m. We spend about 75 minutes together singing, praying, learning, and enjoying fellowship.
At 9:30 a.m. we have two adult classes as well as Jr. High/High School and children’s classes. Coffee and refreshments are also available prior to class!
If you have children, our primary learning time is during Sunday School from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. We also offer children’s church after the music and during the sermon. This time is educational and fun, but is less structured.
The safety of your children is important to us, so please be prepared for an initial check-in process where you will receive a tag that allows only you to retrieve your child after service. All of our children’s volunteers receive background checks and are trained in our safety policies and procedures.
We hope that you will be encouraged by your visit and if you leave basic information on a Connection Card at our Welcome Center, we will be sure to follow up to answer any further questions about our church family, mission, and vision.
